This one-day introductory course will consist of a series of overview lectures, the objective of which will be to provide attendees with a basic knowledge of the principal applications of electron microscopy to pathological diagnosis. Subject areas will include renal, liver, metabolic, hematologic, skin, muscle, pulmonary and neoplastic disease. This offering is targeted principally toward meeting the needs of non-physician electron microscopists, pathologists in training, and practicing pathologists that might benefit from a basic refresher course.
